Double R Photography came to us as a Western-rooted studio that photographs real people in real places — cowgirls, couples, landscapes, horses. The brief wasn't one identity. It was two: we explored two complete, deliberate creative directions in parallel, built the full visual world of each one, and let the brand owner choose where to live.
Both directions pass through the same type and color discipline that defines our brand work — one mark, one wordmark, one palette, one applied set across digital and print. They diverge in temperament. Direction One leans earthy and cinematic, the kind of brand that could sit on a leather-bound portfolio. Direction Two leans romantic and nostalgic, pink matchbook over blue tablecloth energy, script wordmark with a hand-drawn flourish. Each is a complete, considered identity on its own.

Desert Modern.
A grounded sans-serif wordmark anchored by a stylized bull-skull emblem. Warm earth tones, leather textures, cinematic landscape photography. The brand of a studio that spends more time at golden hour than in a conference room.
Cowgirl Romantic.
A script-serif wordmark finished with a hand-drawn asterisk flower. Burgundy and rose over sky blue, matchbook-and-polaroid energy, a brand that feels like a Palm Springs weekend. Playful where Direction One is quiet, personal where Direction One is cinematic.
